Work Experience

As a Senior Consultant, I work closely with clients to understand their unique business needs and align them with Workday Financial Management solutions. I am responsible for designing, configuring, and testing various modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. Additionally, I develop custom reports to meet specific client requirements while analyzing existing financial processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement.
I assist clients in streamlining workflows, ensuring smooth operations, and providing continuous support by troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and guiding users. Moreover, I conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure seamless adoption of Workday Financial Management and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials for future reference.

Senior Consultant - Workday Finance

Head of Finance

As the Head of Finance, I successfully negotiated a one-time settlement with the bank for working capital funding and term loans. I also secured pending GST refunds from 2017 onward, ensuring better cash flow management. Additionally, I developed comprehensive financial models to track trends, forecast cash flows, and identify financial risks and opportunities within the organization. My role involved producing detailed financial reports for leadership, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Directly reporting to the owners, I managed the accounts and logistics departments across 11 branches and 15 warehouses, overseeing an annual turnover of INR 400 crores. Leading a team of 10 members, I coordinated with banks for the disbursement of limits and other trade-related services while successfully designing and implementing GST-compliant systems, which enhanced efficiencies in scheduling, invoicing, and reporting. I also managed forex risk for annual import transactions totaling USD 45 million and implemented a highly efficient, cost-effective import system that reduced customs clearance time by 7 days and cut costs by 70%.
